The Vice President said in his release on twitter page that in the next few days, we expect the fuel queues to be eliminated.
Due to the issue of fuel scarcity, many Nigerians have become sleepers at the gate of many petrol stations. While many stay for hours on queue waiting to buy petrol at the petrol stations.
It was learnt that only few petrol stations sell fuel at the regular price while some are selling at the rate of #220 to #300.
Today being the Christmas day, many people stayed at petrol station over night and some even waited for the whole day before they were able to buy petrol.
While speaking with one of the buyer today, he said "I have been here since 4 oclock today to buy fuel at NNPC Osogbo and uptill 12 oclock, they didnt sell this fuel to us. "
As well as many were lamenting due to the pain they pass through in the petrol station today. As some were paying money before entering.
