At the level of Awo Cafe the secretary of Nasu in person of Ajagbe olajide said the Oau Nasu is going to join the Nation wide Strike which is going to commence on Monday. He made the statement during a program organized by the Democratic Socialist Movement today. He was asked by one of the student whether Oau Nasu is going to join the strike. He said the Oau branch is going to join the Nation Wide Strike on Monday
He said even though we have dissociated ourself from National Nasu. He said as at 2009 we are still with them not until june 2016. We have every reason to dissociate from them.
Fedral Government Under Goodluck Jonathan is to release 30 billion Naira to the University bodies but Janathan didnt make the disbursement till he left the power.  During Buhari regime the sum of 23 billion naira was release and is to be share in a ratio of 89 to 11percent. 89percent to go to the academic staff and 11 to go to the non academic staff inclusing Nasu, Naat,  and Ssanu.
He said unfortunately this wasnt the agreement between the union and the fedral government. The non academic staff set to oppose this because are they not human being and why should Asuu be given special treatment. The joint action committee have given the fedral government seven days in which they failed to respond on the reason about the Sharing formula. So the Nation wide strike is going to commence on Monday and Oau is going to join
