The students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic known as MAPOLY have taken to the streets to protest towards their displeasure over the inactivity of the school for months. In a protest tagged "Black Week" . The protest called Black week started on Monday 18th of December,2017. Which is meant to last for a whole week.

As at yesterday, the student of Mapoly blocked all roads leading to the governors office including Pansek, Oke Ilewo and Kuto Area of the state capital. As vehicular movements were restricted in the region of the protest.
 


The aggrieved students moved with Black Cards and majority in Black T-shirt. The students moved down the roads singing gyration songs while some were placing blackcards with inscription "bring back our exam" 

 It was learnt that the aggrieved student stoned and beat up an officer of the Nigeria Police Force. Also some students were reportedly arrested by men of the Nigeria police force. At the later end, the arrest was stalled by the radical students present at the event. L

ater on, some students moved to the newly established Ogun State Polytechnic in Ipokia in the regards of their protest.

 Earlier today, the students of Mapoly have continued their Black week. It was learnt that the aggrieved student protested at the Panseke Axis of the state capital today. In which they continued their fight towards the inactivity of the school for months. 

 As at Press time there was no casualty and the state government is yet to address the issue.
